HELLO!

I am an Irish primary school teacher with a passion for all things education, but in particular the arts subjects, hence the name EducationThroughCreation! I set up my Instagram page as a hobby in August 2019, and I haven’t looked back since. I love sharing ideas, chatting to other teachers, SNA’s, student teachers and parents.

I have taught after-school art classes for the last few years which I absolutely adore! I also have vast experience in SEN and it is an area that hugely interests me. Having worked as an SNA, a July Provision tutor, a SET teacher and of course taught many children with SEN in the mainstream classroom, I have built up a wealth of knowledge which I hope to share on this site. I also love making resources and finding teacher hacks and ways to make life easier. You will find a little bit of everything here!

After trying my hand at guest blogging, I decided to set up my own space where I can blog freely to allow me to write more than the average Instagram caption!
